It's been a while since last post, and I remembered I promised to take you on a tour of the shop. Here are some pictures I took to show you around. I hope you enjoy these pictures! Opening a store has been a dream for me for quite some time now, and I didn't think it would happen so soon for me I thought it would be later in life when my children were grown. With the support from my husband and children, and also my Mom to help me run the store the opening day was in June 2011. It was very exciting for both Mom and I to be able to do this together. We have always talked about "someday" having a shop together. My Mom and I have always had antique booths, but this was a first for us both to be having our own retail space. I inherited my love for old, weathered, chippy, good junk from my Mom. My Mom always took me with her since I was a baby- garage saleing, antiquing, craft shows, and flea markets. It's in my blood and we have always joked that we are decorating demons. We share a love for decorating and we work side by side in the store on how we should display each piece. We are so grateful of the support our customers give us, and that they understand how important it is to shop locally to help keep the small town historic districts alive. Thank you!
Come share in my passion for decorating, and the love for all things shabby!
